Isaiah - 8 Months

Doesn't Isaiah look so sweet in this beautiful outfit? It was a gift from Aunt Nancy and today was the first day he was able to wear it...it's a size 18 months! It is still a little big on him, nevertheless Isaiah is doing his best to keep up with Olivia. He's in 12 month clothes now. And, after 2 weeks of teething he now has two beautiful teeth on the bottom. He worked hard to get those teeth, but thankfully he still slept through the night...just a little grumpy during the day. Still no crawling, but tons of scooting backwards. He'll "hop" from his tummy to his hands and knees and rock back forth even moving one leg forward, but the hands still stay put. I imagine any day now he'll take off after one of the cats and then life as we know it will change!

Isaiah - 7 Months

Every day I look at the beautiful face of this truly sweet and joyful baby boy and wonder how in the world God has allowed me to be his mommy...it's a miracle and a blessing beyond imagination!

What's up with Isaiah Love? Well, he is sitting; he is trying to push up or get his legs under him to crawl...but no crawling yet, which is just fine with this mommy; he loves to hear himself scream; is wearing 12 month jammies (trying to keep up with Olivia Hope); fills the house with laughter; and is dearly loved by every member of this house!!!

Isaiah - 6 Months

Loves cereal, sweet potatoes, and bananas.
Finally actually loves tummy time. He's a champ rolling to his tummy, spinning circles, and scooting backwards.
Sits...well, more like slouches over.
Loves, loves, loves his feet.
Full of squeals!!!

Most people ask me how Olivia does with him...well, she's normal. Some days she wants to play with him, help feed him, and make him laugh. Some days she ignores him. And some days she wants to trade him for ice cream. You know, like you can trade in your toy for ice cream at Chick-fil-A

Isaiah 5 Months

• Such sweet belly laughs!
• Outgrown most of his 3 to 6 month clothes.
• So close to rolling over onto tummy...just needs to get his arm out from under him.
• A drooling faucet!
• Strong, roly-poly legs.
• Reaching for and grabbing toys.
  

Isaiah - 4 Months

Sweet baby Isaiah Love is 4 months old!!!
16.5 pounds

Taking after his big sis and sleeping 10 to 12 hours a night (Baby Wise rocks!)
Loves to chew on his thumb and pointer finger
Loves to blow bubbles
Is still remarkably content and happy...oh, I love those sweet smiles and squeals
Still hates his tummy time
Has very strong legs and can even stand with minimal help to help with balance
Started with some rice cereal, but most of it comes right back out (o:
Gets the most excited when he hears his daddy's voice on the phone

Isaiah - 3 Months

I tried narrowing down the car seat photos to only 1, but it was hard enough as it was to narrow it down to 6...he's just so darn cute!

He didn't have an official doctor's visit, but the difference between my solo weight and my holding Isaiah weight on our home scale is 16 lbs. Needless to say we need to move on up to our 3 to 6 month clothes.

He loves: to chew on his hand, blow slobber bubbles, listen to JP sing and play guitar.
He doesn't like: tummy time...at all!

He is such a sweet little boy. Full of smiles, squeals, and fun. I just can't believe how fast the time is going already. It seems like we waited forever for him, and now he's not even a newborn anymore. I pray that all these sweet memories stay in my mind forever!

Isaiah - 2 Months

One Month

Has it really already been one month? What a wonderful month it has been! Isaiah is such a sweet and content little boy...though he definitely knows how to tell us he's hungry or tired. He now weighs 8 pounds 10 ounces and is 21" long...the exact measurements of Olivia when she was born. Isaiah started at 6 pounds 9 ounces and 18" long so he is growing great! He still fits in his newborn clothes, but I can tell within the next week we'll have to already pack those away and move on up a size.

So, Isaiah is a good sleeper, though at night I'm still waking up to feed him every 3 hours. He can go about 4 hours during the day, but for some reason at night he has a hard time making it 4 hours. Up until a few days ago he was a snoozer sleeping all but about 4 hours a day. Now, though, he is becoming so much more alert. He loves to just lay on a blanket kicking and watch Olivia run around, stare at ceiling fans, or be snuggled (o:
