Happy Birthday Olivia!!!

Okay, I have to brag a little here, but I did make this cake. And fortunately I didn't cry this year like I did last year making her cake (o:

I can't believe Olivia is two years old today!!! We had a Pooh & Tigger party last week-end while JP's brother and family were in town. She had a blast!!! Her favorite part of the party was when JP called and led everyone in a boistrous rendition of "Happy Birthday." She smiled her biggest smile, and later that night she started singing Happy Birthday to all the animals. That was almost a week ago and even now she keeps singing Happy Birthday. Today, though, has been a sleepy, two-year old day. Within 5 minutes of waking up she started crying and screaming, and I couldn't tell why. Then mom, dad, and I took her to Red Robin so they could sing her happy birthday, but she just wasn't into it today. I guess that's the life of a two year old (o: So, here are some things our little two-year old Olivia is doing:

-Calls herself Yaya.

-37" tall. The theory is that you can tell how tall they'll be by doubling their two- year old height. That will make Olivia 6'2" tall fully grown (o:

-Wears some 3T and some 4T clothes.

-Size 9.5 wide shoe (crocs are our absolute favortie shoe!)

-Says "mommy, mommy" in an Italian accent.

-Reads Chinese. The other day while we were out I took her into the bathroom to change her diaper. While on the changing station she pointed to the writing written in Chinese characters and with perfect clarity read it all in Chinese (o:

-Will tell me that she's gone pooh-pooh ("Yaya pooh-pooh), but doesn't like to sit on the potty yet.

-Sings her alphabet getting anywhere between 60-80% of the letters correct. She can identify all her letters.

-Counts to three. Can identify numbers 1-10.

-Reads her favorite book "Moo, Baa, Lalala"

-Says, "God Loves You"...the title of one of her other favorite books.

-I'm 90% sure she said "I love mommy" the other day. Haven't heard it again though.

-Loves going to church nursery now. Last time she was "helping" her teacher gather the name tags of all the kids as their parents picked them up.

-Likes to choose the animals for the "Old McDonald had a Farm" song.

-Sings "Head, shoulders, knees, and toes."

-Loves to jump...though she still can't get her feet off the ground...and loves to spin.

-Favorite shows: Signing Time, The Book of Pooh, and Praise Baby

-Favorite foods: Crackers, ice cream, and fruit. But, she pretty much just likes to eat in general...takes after her mommy in this.

-Favorite toys: Stuffed Tigger (which she now goes to bed with instead of books or videos), books, balls, and all the dogs and cats.

-Favorite activites: Gymboree gym class (especially bubbles and parachute time), unlocking doors including the gate at the top of the steps, going through unlocked doors (thankfully she is very competent on the steps now), and exploring outside.
