Computer Crash!!!

Yep, my computer crashed and along with it all my contact information, financial information, music for my MP3 player (which crashed a month ago and even though it's now fixed I hadn't had time to re-download all my CDs which are all back in Clarksville) and to my heart's great dismay the novel I was working on and all my pictures. I'm trying not to panic because my brother Ryan has offered some hope of recovery (since my computer expert husband can't be here to help, at least I have the next best thing...a computer-expert brother). However, in my packing to come to Colorado I thought I had all my necessary "recovery" disks, but sadly they are somewhere (who knows where???) in our Clarksville home. I'm using my dad's computer now, and I may move back to the archaic way of tracking income/expenses (pencil and paper). The novel wasn't great anyways, but how do I get back all those beautiful pictures of sweet Olivia!!!! And just the other day the thought "maybe I should do a quick back-up" passed through my mind. What an awful way to learn an important lesson )o:
