Just a Couple More Thoughts...

...my brain is still going after my last post. So, here's just a few more thoughts:

• home schooling is a lot of work! I think especially in the younger years...but it is far more work than I ever imagined! It takes a deep commitment by the entire family. But at the same time it requires the flexibility to change your mind.
  
• If we do decide a school system, we are by no means let off the hook. God is very clear in His Word that parents are primary teachers, disciplers, and care givers. We have a great responsibility to teach our children no matter where they receive their academic education. They need to grow physically, emotionally and spiritually as well.
  
• I by no means ever want to try and convince someone that the way we do things is the "right" way. My only goal is to challenge you to seek God deeply and earnestly to find His will for your life. His purpose for our lives will never work in your life...and His purpose for your life will never work in my life. It's all about Him and His grand adventure!
