Praying for a Miracle

Our sweet Mickey Dog is missing. I can't believe I typed those words; but it is true. He has been missing since around 1am Wednesday morning, and our hearts are breaking. I let him out early Wednesday morning because he was pacing, and with his doggy senility it's very important to let him out if we even think he might need to go...but when I went back to let him back in an hour later (I was doing an early morning Isaiah feeding) the fence gate was open and he was gone. And the only thing I can think of that opened the gate was the terrible wind storm that had just started. But really, can even a strong wind open the latch of fence gate?

So, he's gone missing a couple of times before, but we have always found him. Now it's been 3 full days and 2 of those days the temperatures never even got above the high 20's! I cannot tell you how many hours JP has been searching for him. If he's not working or sleeping, then he's searching for Mickey. He just came in from 4 hours of searching in the dark. And I've put out tons of flyers, talked to tons of people, and placed ads. Oh where, oh where are you Mickey???? Our hearts are breaking, and we are praying for a miracle!!!!!
