Pumpkin Carving

We are going to carve this one.

Olivia is very artistic, yet she asked for help to draw the pumpkins eyes and nose. She chose to make the eyes triangles and the nose a square.

Then she drew the big happy mouth all by herself. She got the idea for the design from the fabulous book we've been reading this week called "Pumpkin Patch Parable" by Liz Curtis Higgs.

JP is a wonderful pumpkin carver.

After looking at all the slimy stuff inside Olivia decided she didn't want to touch it...so, mommy did it. I saved the pumpkin seeds and roasted them. Olivia thought they were just okay.

Pop his eye out.
