Conversations with Olivia

The other day, I had this brief conversation with Olivia:

Olivia (mumbling and trying to talk without moving her tonguge)
"Mommy, I need to watch something on TV."

Me
Olivia, I can't understand what you're saying. Can you please try asking again in a different way? (Okay, so I can really understand her, but this mumbling is getting to be too frequent and we're trying to teach her to say please.)

Olivia (still mumbling and not moving her tongue, but a little louder this time...louder is afterall a different way of asking)
"Mommy, I need to watch something on TV."

Me
"Olivia, can you please trying asking mommy again in a different way, using your manners. Where are your manners?"

Olivia (still mumbling and talking loud she points to her open mouth)
"They're stuck in my mouth."
