Whew...we are back from an absolutely amazing 8 days at Disney World...a most amazing Christmas gift from JP's brother!!!!! As you can probably guess, I could blog about our trip for days and days, and of course with JP's love of photography there is not enough room for all 1600 pictures on our blog (in reality only a small portion of the pictures he took as we regretfully lost the camera card from the first 4 days of our trip...we are still prayerfully hoping it will turn up), so I have begun to upload what we do have to a separate web site where you can enjoy every single picture (o: Check back often, though, because this will be a several day process getting them all organized and uploaded (o:
Here's the link.
http://picasaweb.google.com/jpnamyWe stayed in a cabin at the Ft. Wilderness Campground, which JP rightly says does not seem like a campground at all! The first night we arrived around 1am...many flight delays...and walk into a room filled with balloons, confetti, a Mickey Mouse cup for each of us, a big stuffed Mickey for Olivia, and these adorable animal creations made out of wash cloths and towels. It was very early in the morning and Olivia was asleep, but it definitely took JP and I right into the Disney world and we couldn't wait to get started. And every time Olivia sat down at the table for breakfast and saw the balloons and confetti she said, "It's a birthday party!" and started singing happy birthday. What a wonderful way to view the world...through our precious two year old's eyes.
Okay...so I do have to get started with my first day back to the real world where it's only 25 degrees instead of 70 and little girls need to be taken to the doctor for ear infections...but, rest assured I will post more little stories and pictures from our trip over the next couple of days.
I'll leave you for now with a final word from Olivia as we were flying back home to Tennessee, "I want to go home to Disney World!"
I only wonder, if the magical world of Disney created by man around a mouse can be so much fun and wonderful, how amazing is heaven created by God around Jesus going to be!!!!!!! I mean, just think, we stood in line anywhere from a few minutes to an hour to get the attention of a disney character for less than a minute, but with Jesus no matter how many people are talking to Him, He is constanatly giving each of us His undivided attention. How cool is that!!! He is especially fond of each us every moment of the day!!!!!!

We found out about our trip to Disney World on Christmas Eve, and the next day JP was on the phone making reservations for character dinners, other dinner, and all kinds of planning. We really wanted to have lunch with Cinderella at her palace in Magic Kingdom, but even though JP was persistent in calling every single day to see if anything had opened up (people make these reservations a year to 6 months in advance) it didn't look like we would get to go...until about four days into our trip we stopped by in person and tried again and were successful!!!! This was probably the highlight of the trip!!!!!

Okay, I think this has to be my favorite picture from the whole trip!!!! This is Rosetta from Tinker Bell's new movie, which Olivia has not seen so she has no idea who this person...ooops, I mean fairy... is. It didn't take her long, though, to get into having all the characters sign her autograph books. She filled nearly 2 books and loves looking at the different signatures and pointing them out to us. We just have to be careful though that she doesn't have a pen at the same time as she's holding the autograph books because she is determined that Larry the Cucumber should have his picture drawn on every page (o:
