Phone Calls with Daddy

So, during the last year we've often wondered how Olivia is putting together daddy and the phone in her young mind. He's able to call several times a week, so she's heard his voice coming through frequently. For a while it seemed she thought the phone was daddy. But now, since JP came home for a few weeks, it appears she thinks daddy is inside the phone. One time she said, "Get daddy out" and picked at the phone like she could get him to come out of the phone. Last week she was sliding the phone down the hand rail saying "Wwweeee." Then yesterday daddy was fed imaginary crackers through the mouth piece, got to ride on mom and dad's yellow lab Masy, and then given a big hug and pat on the back before saying bye.
